Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-06-25. TelAI is a service of Webmaster & More, Los Angeles, CA. Questions: support@telaiagent.com.
1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of the TelAI service, which provides an AI-powered telephone answering and intake agent (the “Service”) for your business. By ordering or using the Service, you (the “Client”) agree to these terms.
The service
TelAI configures, hosts, and maintains an AI receptionist that answers calls on a phone number you provide or that we provision for you, greets callers, answers the office facts you supply, collects a structured message (intake), and emails that message to your designated address. The Service is an intake and message-taking tool only.
Fees & billing
A one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly fee apply, as quoted at order. Monthly plans include a stated allowance of call minutes; usage beyond the allowance may incur overage at the quoted per-minute rate. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel with 30 days’ notice; we may suspend the Service for non-payment or misuse.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the office information, FAQs, and call-handling instructions you provide; for obtaining any consents your own practice requires; and for reviewing the intake messages we deliver. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or deceptive purposes, and not to configure it to provide regulated professional advice (see Section 4).
Availability & disclaimer
We work to keep the Service available 24/7 and provide a voicemail fallback if the AI is temporarily unreachable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including business opportunities arising from missed or mishandled calls.
2. Text messaging (SMS)
Our SMS program is transactional and tied to consultations and accounts. Opt-in, message types, frequency, rates, and opt-out (STOP) / help (HELP) handling are described in full on our SMS / text messaging terms page, and how we handle the data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
3. Recording & consent
California is a two-party (all-party) consent state. Every TelAI agent discloses at the start of the call that the call may be recorded and transcribed, so that callers are informed before they continue. Clients are responsible for keeping this disclosure enabled and for any additional notices their profession or jurisdiction requires.
4. AI & not legal advice
Callers are speaking with an automated AI assistant, not a person, and not a lawyer. The TelAI agent is built to take messages and answer basic office information only. It does not, and is configured never to, provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, evaluate a case, quote outcomes, or create any attorney-client or other professional relationship.
Nothing said by a TelAI agent is advice or a representation by the Client’s firm. Information shared with the agent is collected for intake and follow-up only; no professional relationship is formed until the Client’s office confirms it directly. If a caller describes an emergency, the agent directs them to call 911.
This page is a plain-language template provided for transparency and is not itself legal advice. Clients in regulated professions should have their own counsel review how the Service fits their compliance obligations.
